Questions About Working Together

 FAQs

  • I offer full-service interior design for two types of projects: Furnishings-Only Design (single room, multi-room, or whole home) and Renovation & New Construction Design. Both services are fully managed — from initial strategy through final installation. I don't offer à la carte services or one-time shopping consultations.

  • The Home Design Evaluation is a 90-minute, designer-led session where I assess your home, clarify your priorities, and map a strategic path forward. You receive a written findings summary and a detailed proposal — including scope of work, design fee, and project phases — so you know exactly what working together looks like before you commit. The fee is $750, applied in full toward your design project when you move forward.

  • Design fees for Furnishings-Only projects begin at $3,500, with a minimum furnishings investment of $10,000. Renovation and New Construction fees begin at $8,500, with a minimum project investment of $25,000. If your budget is below these thresholds, I'm likely not the right fit — and I'll tell you that honestly rather than waste your time.

  • Not at all — that's exactly what the Home Design Evaluation is for. Most clients come to me knowing something isn't working but unsure where to start. My process is built to create clarity from the very first session.

  • Yes — and I actively encourage it. I work alongside your contractor and architect as a design authority, helping translate vision into documentation they can actually build from. My engineering background means I can speak their language and catch conflicts before they become change orders. Many clients bring me in before finalized plans, because that's where the real value lives.

  • es. This is one of the most valuable conversations the Home Design Evaluation can produce. Sometimes a home just needs a smarter plan. Sometimes moving is genuinely the right answer. I'll give you an honest read — not one skewed toward keeping you as a client.

  • I'm based in Buffalo, NY and serve clients throughout Western New York — including Clarence, East Amherst, Williamsville, Orchard Park, and East Aurora. Select out-of-area projects are considered by inquiry.

  • My work is primarily in-person and local. The level of service I provide — and the results my clients experience — requires being physically present in the home. If you're outside my service area and believe your project is a strong fit, submit an inquiry and I'll let you know whether it's something we can explore.
